This is to bring to your kind notice that the residents of Pragatinagar (Ramanthapur, Uppal Mandal) are trying to construct a temple in an open land, which is very nearby to a boundary wall of residential houses of Indiranagar.

The following are the points which we would like to bring to your notice due to the same:-

1. Huge disturbance to the people living nearby due to heavy sound pollution etc. which may effect education of children, normal sleep, etc.

2. According to Vastu Shastra – “Location of temples near the residential area affect the inmates. Temple on the right side of a plot cause material loss, on the left, grief and sorrow, in front, obstruction to progress and in the 100 feet apart have disastrous results.”

3. Previously, we objected the same and the construction has been stopped. However, the people of Pragatinagar have again started the construction plans.

4. The Pragatinagar Colony was developed and sold by the inmates of Indiranagar Colony only, where the residents of Pragatinagar are behaving in a manner of a gated community and not allowing the residents of Indiranagar to pass over the area.

5. We are worried that the construction of temple may further lead to the grabbing of empty open land of houses of Indiranagar residents too.

6. The construction of temple should be done with due diligence and with consent and approval of all the residents nearby to the proposed site.

7. The main aim of construction of temple is to permanently block the way of Indiranagar into Pragatinagar. This act is completely in favor of Pragatinagar residents.

We, the residents of Indiranagar (with signatures attested) has also filed the complaint with the concerned Mayor & Local Corporator. However, this uneven act is progressing further.
