indian Railways - Mony Lost in Smart Card

have purchased a Smart card and using it once in a while so that i will not miss the train, standing in the often long queue at secunderabad or lingampalli. My card number is SCR036489. There was some money left in it. As the instructions say Valid for 6 months after the last recharge. I have recharged it even before that and lost all the left over money(around 200) as it says 0 and expired.There should have been some other way to reclaim or keep the advance money inside the card rather than forfieting the entire amount with this kind of procedure. I am K Ravi and my Mobile no is ********39.

Smart Card WR370484
Above card of mine with more than Rs 200/- balance is now reported to be expired because of old age. It came with out a warning on a busy day. I was in a hurry and the queue was very long. I had used this card last week. At least a warning should have flashed then.

Is there any chance of resurrection.
