Painfull & bitter experience for a couple like us while watching a Ra -one movie in Inox Mantri Mal Maleshwaram Bagalore on 29th oct 2011 at 2-5 pm show .
Myself along with my family booked e-ticket & reached the Inox late by 20 minutes by the time movie had already begun. We were having fun and enjoying the movie inside the theatre suddenly at about 2.50 pm one of the Inox staff Trainee by name Mr. Malikarjuna tried to snatch the mobile phone from my wife without giving any warning signal and molested her while my wife was taking some photographs . It was shocking to see someone behind trying to snatch the phone forclibly since then my wife is under trauma ,the mood & excitement we carried to watch shahrukh khan’s latest release turned into ugly shape with my two kid’s aged 7& 2 years old sitting next to me started crying instead of having fun.
As soon as I turned my face, I stood up from the chair and tried to catch hold of the boy , the boy ran away and went outside the cinema hall .
Upon approaching the staff to escalate the matter to the theatre authorities one Mr. Raj kumar started abusing ,used all vulgar and foul language without listening me patiently . It is then at about 3pm we left the Inox & decided to lodge a police complaint with the Malleshwaram police station.
As a respected citizen of this country, we understand that taking a photograph/picture inside the theatre is against the copyright laws ,but believe me our intention was not of misuse as my wife was carrying a newly purchased mobile phone , incidentally knowingly /unknowingly it happened as we do not watch movies very frequently in theatres .
Moreover there was no sign board stating photography is prohibited inside the cinema hall.
Me and my family would been very co-operative and humble, Incase the authorities could have made warning signal to us not take any photographs instead they took law in their own hands & molested my wife and misbehaved me. The matter is published in Bangalore Mirror dated 30th oct and is pending with the police for further investigation.
We request your intervention and apologies for molesting my wife and misbehavior by Mr. Raj Kumar & Malikarjuna ( staff Inox ) & issue us the fresh tickets to watch the movie with pride an honour.
