I would like your help or intervention on this issue because I feel cheated by the company.
My wife works for Dodsal Corporation Pvt Ltd. They has been insured by the company through Anmol Medicare Ltd. My wife’s name was Priya Singh, it was changed after our marriage to Taamira Nadaa.
She was admitted in the Queen’s Hospital on 11th of Sep 2009. She had spoken to Mr Dhanajay (HR of Dodsal Corportion Pvt Ltd) just before getting admitted about the medical claim, he confirmed that she is entitled to Rs 5000.00 for Ceaserean operation. My kid was born on 12th of Sep, She was discharged on 15th of Sep, again she had called Mr Dhanajay, for which he assured her not to worry and told her the requisites to claim the amount. She had infact asked him if there is time limit, so that she can send the necessary documents with her husband, he told her that she can do that once she joins back, that’s after 3-4 months.
After she joined back, She got all the necessary documents and submitted it in the month of Feb’10. It was rejected from the insurance company in the month of June because of name change issue, despite giving the court affidavit from the notary, my wedding certificate etc. When She asked Mr Dhanajay(HR of Dodsal Corportion Pvt Ltd) he told her to get the documents done in the old name, he will get the claim done. She spoke to Ms Jacintha and Mr Mrinal (Senior HR of Dodsal Corporation Pvt Ltd), he promised her that if the name is changed in the bills he will get it done in a day or two. We had to make several visits and speak to senior management team, explain them the whole issue, with great difficulty we got that done and resubmitted it in the month of June
Now when She called up Mr Dhananjay(HR of Dodsal Corportion Pvt Ltd) to check the status of the claim, he told her that the cheque has come but its only for Rs 10000.00 instead of Rs 48300.00. He was reasoning that because of the delay in the claim, since its more than 9 months. But the delay happened from the Company’s side.
I am not in a position to loose Rs 38300.00. I didn’t go through my Husband’s insurance company only because I was assured the claim be take care of as I am a direct employee of the company.
