I own Maruti Swift TN01AA2866. I gave for body shopping work on 13/11/2010 at ABT Arumbakkam, chennai centre.
On several follow up,. I was able to get back the car on 20/11/2010 (saturday) at 8.30 pm by a driver.
On checking, it was found that the clutch was so hard that moving the vehicle was very difficult. My Husband is out of station. I have made a claim over my insurance also. They asked for Rs.8012/- to be paid - which they had written on the JOb card . but I insisted that unless this complaint should be rectified , I will not pay. Later I paid Rs. 5000/- and obtained a written acknowledement from the driver after confirming it with the service personnel over phone.
Later, they did not send any person for pick up of the car for rectification on Monday as confirmed over phone. After 5 days I received a bill - cash memo for servicing ( generated on 20/11/2010 at 22.21 hrs) for Rs.634.23.
I have made numerous phone calls for over a week to find out the status of my money and explanation for not accounting the
rest of the money. I called Sasikumar - ********67, Muthamilselvan - ********01 and Sandeep - ********32 but the phones were
either switched off or nobody picked up. I want to know how my money was accounted - I smell some fraud taking place by swindling customer's money in the name of claim being settled.
