Hi, i had recently, just a month back purchased a Lenovo all in one desktop for my 8 year old son as a gift from croma mega mall Gurgaon, Haryana and it suddenly developed error 1962 which means the Lenovo hard disk had manufacturing defective and it crashed in a month. After writing and contacting the Lenovo customer care several times it took them nearly a week to send their engineer to replace the hard disk and when finally the engineer came he simply replaced the hard disk and told me that now i have to purchase the OS on my own as only the hard disk is under warranty period, now i was never explained or told by the company while selling the defective machine about this or even the customer care never explained that this is so. Now i purchased this machine trusting Lenovo to be a well-known branded company, but because of no fault of mine they gave me a defective piece of machine and when it stopped working within a month they simply tell me that we only replace the hard disk and not the OS. But my complaint is that I paid for a whole computer and if suddenly because of manufacturing defect if their machines one part stops working that means they should be replacing the whole machine and give me a new one, fully loaded with OS and not just replace one part of the machine and make the customer pay for the other portion for which i had already paid for in the first place. This is nothing but pure cheating in the highest level by Lenovo Company. I have completely lost my trust and faith on this brand and will campaign to all my friends and family members to never buy a Lenovo product.
