I made a booking for 3 day tour to Ma Vaishnodevi with Kalra Tours & Hotels Inc for 3 persons from 24th to 26 May 2010. Since Air India and Indian Airlines went on snap Stike the flight from Jammu to New Delhi (IC822) on 26 May 2010 was cancelled. So we had to make our own arranements to travel to New Delhi. At Jammu Airport Air India officials advised us that we can claim refund through the travel agent as they had done the booking for us. After the completion of the journey I spoke to the contact person Ms Animma from Kalra Tours on ********4552, She advised me that i should scan the copy of the ticket and she would organise the refund, now after repeated e-mails and phone calls I am not even sure when I am going to see the money i paid for the ticket. She wont even reply to my e-mail and when i call up the 24 hours customer support numbers (mentioned above) no one answers the phone. Some time ago in October when i asked to me put through to the manager, i was told that she is the manager. I am not sure if I can claim refund direct with Air India.
