I Had ordered a laptop table (foldable).
as soon as i placed the order, the response was fast enough giving the details of the order.
the product was delivered to me in a reasonable amount of time.
however on receipt of the product, had noticed visible malfunctions and the product was improperly assembled, leading to uneasiness to use the product.
had immediately lodged the compliant, the acknowledgment was quick and sought details of the problem.
however the resolution was/is still not arrived at.
there is a high level of confusion,
ie India times personnel asking me to send the product back to them by myself.
while on the next day, i get a call from Aramex that the product will be picked up through india times account.

wrote an email to india times, to check if i could send it through them,
but was asked to send it by myself, however got a call again from Aramex that the product will be picked up by themselves.

again i wrote to India times asking for clarification and i was asked to send it by myself, so i asked to which address the product is to be sent,
i was asked to wait for 48 hours to get the address to send to,
however the response is still now.

am now not sure, this is how the customers will be served once the product is sold by them.

am looking forward to a new product (defect free) or refund of the money spent on it + the handling (freight) charge paid, which was rs 2200..

i will try to explain, but its best to see the product yourself.

a) there are two screws under the table, one of the screw doesnt sit in the hole.
b) there is a bend in the recliner
c) the hinge of recliner is not sitting in its place, its lose, cant be tightened
d) the screw on the magnetized hinge cant be tightened.
e) the mini drawer cannot be opened, have to use a tool like a knife to open it.

pl arrange to see the product urself when i am available at home or visit my office , i can provide the address.
