I had given my car (MH03AR773) for its free 3rd service at your Deonar service centre. I had no complaints about any technical part but Mr.Prashat Shetty later calls up and says the back right window winder is getting stuck a little so he will disconnect it and later change it for free when the part arrives.Though I didn't have any problems with the window.
He very clearly told me that he’d call once the part arrived. When I didn’t hear from him I did call him to remind him on which he said the part is still not arrived.
Time passed by and then it was time for my 4th and last free service on 4th Nov’10.I was attended by one Mr.Subbu.The next evening when I went to collect my car I was told I’ll have to pay exra for the winder (rs2344) as my warranty period has lapsed. I was shocked as every time I was told no problem it’ll be replaced for free.
Upon questioning Mr.Prashat that evening he has the audacity to tell me “He forgot to call and that there are 100’s of cars that come here how can I remember all this?†Instead of apologizing and coming out with some logic he was very rude and very very irresponsible.And said i'll have to make that payment.
I sat there and wrote a detailed letter to the GM, and complaint but till date I haven’t received any response from their end.Everytime I call Mr.Subbu to enquire about the status of my complaint,he says there will be someone calling me from the office and action will be carried out, but it’s been over 2 months now and nothing has happened. I suspect someone has played dirty and that complaint letter never reached the right hands.
I emailed a complaint few weeks back then a few days back someone from wasan motors service centre called me,asked me the details and said her boss will get in touch but no one has bothered to do anything.
I feel cheated and let down.Please do something about this as I think lots of customers would be cheated like me.
