I subscribed Tata indicom broadband internet back in April'011 with hope that services would be excellent. But within first billing month, they argued and services were poor. My internet connection was very slow 0.08 mbps =80 kbps of 3.1 Mbps plan. I asked them that my plan is 3.1 mbps but they refused to correct the problem, and said I'll be getting 256Kbps atleast but I never got the speed. They then offered to discontinue the services. Their engineer was rude during the visit, and they asked me to pay the outstanding bill in order to discontinue. I paid Rs 500 to get rid off them but eventually at a loss of Rs 1600 of data card charges. I want to get compensated for all losses that occured to me.

Hi. If you want to file a complaint you can go to TRAI but earlier the trend was to go to Consumer Forum for getting your disputes resolved and that to before the Supreme Courts judgement in the year of 2009 and it was clearly stated that the Consumer Forums will not entertain any kind of telecom disputes but we at Akosha went ahead and conducted a survey and it was found out that only 33% of the District Forums are rejecting the complaints and rest are still accepting it.
