Groupon offered a deal on their site for online digital magazine in conjunction with India today. The deal said that i had to pay Rs 49 to avail 70% discount on the online subscription of a magazine of my choice . I paid the money to avail the discount and then i was led to another Link by India today where I paid Rs 249 for annual subscription ..I was told i will receive the link to the magazine on my email id. 24 hours passed nothing happened ..on 17th October i called Groupon and informed them of this ...they said they would look into the matter ..its 23rd October today...i have called and mailed them several times , but they keep sending me a standard mail ..that they are looking into the matter ..and keep buying time ...they have not resolved issue. I have asked for a refund , but they are not even doing that .
Both Groupon and India today Are scamming people it seems to me.
