Hi,

I went twice to hand over my vehicle for service. They did not take my vehicle as they have taken so many vehicles already. There is very poor response from the service centre. This is not the first time, it happened many times.

Because of that I could not get the service done for the third free service.

the worst service i had ever seen. hey are not providing proper service. just for name sake they take the vehicle and not do any service.

I agree completely. I have also had same experience with them twice earlier. However today it was more serious.
I had a terrible experience when i went to take back my vehicle after service.
After paying the bill for the service, I did a test ride of my Activa and informed the in-charge that a couple of complaints I raised are still not addressed. 1. Screeching sound during braking 2. One of the Vibration sounds on rough roads. The in-charge drove the vehicle and confirmed that it requires some greasing by dismantling the front wheel and would not be possible to carry it out today (25-Oct-13) as it was late already. I was okay with that and ready to take the vehicle back tomorrow (26-Oct-13). Though he seemed ok at the start, the moment I mentioned about not giving any additional labor charges for it, his reaction changed.
He fetched the job card and tried to point out that nothing is mentioned about that specific sound that was coming now. I informed him that when I gave the vehicle for service yesterday(24-Oct-13), I had mentioned about sound during breaking and lot of vibration sounds that are coming. The person who received the vehicle assured me of complete break overhaul and vibrations checkup. The in-charge now is mentioning that the specific sound that is coming now is not mentioned in the job card. My point is, I am not an expert in two-wheelers and how will I know the root cause of all the sounds that is coming in the vehicle? He started raising his voice and really tested my nerves today. To top it all, one of the mechanics worked on the vehicle for around 5 mins and the sound coming in the front wheel doesn’t seem to come now. If this is the case why should the in-charge tell me that it requires dismantling of the front wheel and greasing? Is he bluffing to the customers and taking them for granted then?
First and foremost, a customer facing person like him should try to understand what the customer has to say. If he had admitted that the mechanics would have worked based on the job card description which did not capture issues in detail and if there is any challenge about discounting labour charges, I would have listened to him. He started complaining me that I should point out each and every sound that is coming from the vehicle. Then what is the service center for? When a customer says I am experiencing vibrations sounds and the center accepted to check it completely, are they not supposed to check all the sounds? Sadly, the miss in the service doesn’t hurt me but the way I treated was.
This is not the first time I have had this experience. I have always felt that Keerthi Honda is unable to handle the Service load and the quality of service is getting affected because of that. I have heard this from my other friends also who have Honda vehicles. For e.g. the initial estimate based on the job card provided for me this time was Rs.1200. But the actual bill came out to be Rs.689. Now if we try to understand this, a difference upto 30% is acceptable. But nearly 50%???!!! Either the personnel providing the estimate is grossly unfit or the actual service done was not that was originally thought of or communicated to. This aspect definitely need some introspection.
