I'm a member of Highland Holiday Homes from April 2010. Membership Id is HC-05-965/P. I had booked reservation for Lonavala for first time after taking membership of Highland of date 3rd-5th July 2010 through Highland Holiday Pune office & transfered the reservation amount online of Rs.1144 to Highland Holiday Holidays ICICI Bank Account no 003********2 Bandra Branch on 21 June 2010. on 23June I recived scan copy of Reservation memo from Highland having incorrect Member Name & also incorrect Member ID through e-mail. After which I recived the scan copy of corrected memo with changing both the entries which was scrathed and corrected by hand.
And after 2-3 days I recived a call from Highland that your reservation is cancelled due to renovation of Lonavala resort. Again after 1-2 days I recived another call saying your booking is confirmed as ther are few rooms avaliable & few rooms are cancelled by other customers. So I had done all my planings for Lonavala according to this as it was my birthday on 5th July & wanted to celebrate it at Lonavala. And at last on 1st July again I recived call saying that it is cancelled due to renovation.
At last call which I recived I was told taht I'll recive the refund amount cheque within 7 days as the reservation was cancelled by Highland Hoidays. But even after 3-4 follow-up from my side to Pune office as well as Highland Holiday Bombay office no 02242469696 & also Toll free no. 1********3 still I have not recived the cheque nor a call from Highland Holidays till date 21 July. I was told by Pune office that your cheque will be processed from Bombay office & you will recive when it comes to Pune office. So I called Bombay office & I got answer that you have made booking from Pune office so you have to call Pune office. Also I had send a e-mail to Pune office on 20July2010 regarding refund amount after calling the pune office on 20 July.


Due to reservation cancellation at last movement i.e 2 days before of reservation from Highland Holidays, I had to cancell my tourist txi booking for lonavala for which I had to pay cancellation amount of Rs.1000. I was not able to celebrate my 1st Birthday after my marriage at lonaval with my wife. Also I had made almost 8-10 calls to Pune & Bombay office of Highland Holiday. And every time I was told that you will get a call from Highland regarding the status of the refund amount cheque. But did not recived not a single call.I had to keep the 8-10 follow-up through phone calls & e-mail for which I had to waste my valuable time & money.


This was my first reservation after taking the membership of Highland Holiday by paying amount of Rs. 25750 for 5 years. As I'm not satisfied with the services provided by Highland Holidays & not used any of the services by Highland ,
I want hte membership amount of RS. 25750 & my lonavala bookin amount of RS.1144 to be refund with 18% yearly intrest till I recive the full amount.
