i have booked one ticket bearing pnr no. ********68 & ticket no. ******** on 02/08/2011 at 12:15 hrs at nalbari reservation counter. My date of journey was 04/08/2011 at 20:00 hrs & boarding station from guwahati. But due to some personal reason i had to change my plan & i had go to nalbari reservation counter to cancel my ticket on next day i.e 03/08/2011. But staff says there is no link & he said come after when link available. I had gone two or three times . but dut to link unavailability my ticket had not been cancelled. i also went second day i.e journey date 04/08/2011 to the counter. but till now there was a link unavailability said by the counter staff. & so i didn't get any refund amount.
so i just want to know that if there is a link failure & someone wants to cancel his ticket, is there any option to refund some amount or all money go to waste? who is responsible behind this?
