1. My HP DV Model & Product NO. DV9223TX/RZ900PA was given for repairs at the HP repair centre on Sept 14 2010. I have no clue on the status of the repairs.
2. I was asked for the Carepack Services (for extended services) documents and the repair centre stated that some pages are missing. I am at a total loss on what pages were missing when I have maintained as pages as given by the Care Pack Seller. Due to this they are not able to ascertain the date of the extended services period. What is surprising is that they have serviced the laptop on this care pack and why the dates were not registered remains a mystery.
3. The service centre reverts back only on repeated reminders and finally came back with an estimated cost of appx Rs. 47000/- at which price I can buy a new laptop today. Seems to me a move to discourage me from the repairs.
4. Finally I produced the invoice of the care pack purchase which shows that the care pack services are valid upto June 2011. This was done more than 2 weeks back with 2 reminders and no response yet.
Does HP have customer courtesy to reply back to emails?
