Hi I am Praveen, I quite frequently travel in Shatabadi express on delhi-ludhiana route for last four years , Initially I was not satisfied with the services provided in Shatabadi express as mentioned below.

1) Food Quality very bad.

2) After so many times request just like begging in front of pantry guys for newspaper.

3) If my net ticket is not confirmed after chart is prepared so I used to pay the railway penalty and sit near the toilets or with pantry guys.

But after travelling so many times in Shatabadi I got some useful tips to solve above mentioned problems which I used to face while travelling.

1) Food Quality will never improve so it is better u carry your while travelling.

2) If you want that pantry guys should treat you as a guest then as soon as you board the train just show fifty rupees to the pantry guys then you will feel the royal travelling experience in train, you will get within a second whatever you want they may make some energy drink also in evening Shatabadi.

3) If you want a seat in Shatabadi even if your ticket is not confirmed then no need to pay heavy penalty you just need to pay the ticket amount only to the ticket checking person (certainly you will not get any receipt for that money from railway but you will get TT's assurance, he will take you to the seat and will also tell the pantry guys to take extra care for you) but if you agree to pay the penalty then you will have to sit near the toilets or with pantry guys and you will also have to pay for breakfast/tea/dinner.


So friends choice is yours I can guide you only whether you people wanna have royal travelling experience or want to experience humiliation till your journeys ends.
