On 15-02-2010, one of my colleague has booked two non a/c rooms for me and my family from 16-02-2010 evening in Hotel Prem Nivas. I was told by my colleague that the rooms are booked and I can reach directly to Hotel. When I reached Hotel with my family around 9 pm from Rameswaram, I was told by the Hotel People that no rooms are available since nobody has vacated as scheduled.
Is this the way, a hotel respond to a client? When the rooms are booked how they can deny? I was stranded in Madurai with my family (including Ladies) that night because of this and who will take the responsibility for this? I had high hopes for the hotel which got tarnished within fraction of seconds. If the hotel authorities could have hinted me that rooms will be provided subject to vacation of the existing occupants, I could have arranged my travel accordingly.
