I have purchased a water filter from Mr Ketan Patil 2 years ago and since then am a victim of exceptionally infuriating after sales service. To begin with, the ad I read which had his contact details was misleading. It was titled 'Aquaguard' seller. When he came home for a demonstration he brought a 'Dolphin' brand of filter which I had never heard of. When I asked him about Aquaguard, he said this filter works on the same principles of RO and insisted that my mother and I should see the demo and then decide. We felt bad that he came all the way from Vasai carrying such heavy stuff, so in the end we agreed to buy it. I paid around Rs 7500. The filter immediately went faulty within a few days and every time I would contact Mr Ketan Patil he would say he is coming to check it but it took him 4 days during which I had to buy drinking water. He apologised and replaced some parts. After this each time the filter needed servicing or there was a problem, he was very difficult to get hold of. Once the filter was sold he it was like he has nothing more to do with us. Each time he would apologise and we would get the servicing done. The filter has problems again. This time I have been calling him since 2 weeks and yet he has not given the issue any importance. Each day he says he will come in the morning, evening etc and does not bother. Yesterday I gave him a piece of my mind, told him my intention to complain about the horrible service and he said he will come today evening, give me 1000 or 500 Rs back after deducting servicing charges. He has not shown up. I request people to refrain from buying these filters from him. The after sales service is shockingly poor. I truly regret dealing with him.
