I am Chetan, 29, from Mumbai. I am a VIGILANCE officer with a govt PSU in Mumbai.
Last week I purchased KArbonn A27 Retina mobile. Was very happy and elated to own an Indian Brand of mobile.
At that price point, A27 is a worhty deal. Screen transition is smooth, kinetic scrolling doesnt lag etc.

But my happiness was short lived, as soon as I made my first call from the mobile my ear (inside of left ear) began to blur and pain.
I could actually feel waves of electromagnetic (microwaves) radiation entering my ear as I placed phone reciver on my left ear. This effect
remained for a long time even after call was disconnected. As we all are AWARE how hazardous these radiation waves are to human health.

I even got my phone checked from the service center of Karbonn mobiles, they too showed their helplessness in reducing the radiation emitted from the mobile. The radiations emitted from the phone while incoming/outgoing call is so strong and evident, that my ear starts to pain in the first minute of call itself. I am using mobiles for more than 11 years now. This was NEVER the case with my previous Nokia mobile.

I was feeling proud to own an Indian brand mobile for the 1st time. But to utter dismay and shock that was not the case. I repented on my decision to purchase a Karbonn mobile. Bcz it FAILED in giving the very basic purpose of using a phone ... "TO TALK". The radiations coming from my mobile has just put me off... even the headset provided is of inferior quality .. and the sound output is not upto the mark when talking is done on road, in train etc ...

If Karbonn wants Indians to use their products then they must DELIVER and OFFER superior products than theses substandard ones.
Is the radiation filter that expensisve to be put in a phone to reduce its price !!!! Why should Karbonn cut corners and play with the health of its consumers !!!

I would seriously appreciate, if Karbonn mobiles makes an effort to resolve this problem at the earliest. Any representative of Karbonn from Mumbai may reach me on ********95 and I am ready to get the mobile tested for its radiation emissions ... The radiations emitted are much higher than the prescribed limits mentioned in the product brochure. One thing Karbonn should remember is
" Consumers feedback are the Guidebooks from which an Organisation Learns " ... I HOPE Karbonn mobiles will not disappoint me ...
