Ref: eticket PNR Number: ********72
Transaction ID: 04******** dated 31-03-2012
Train: 15941 JHAJHA DBRG EXP
From: ASN To NJP
The boarding at ASN was 02:00 in the night and after arriving at the station at midnight, it was really disgusting to know from inquiry office that the train was diverted through some other route and thus it would not touch the boarding station. It was really hard to to know that why passengers could not be informed in advance by railways by some kind of SMS or phone calls (it is to be remembered that passenger's contact details and address are stored in IRCTC website and also are printed on the eticket).
After filing TDR on 3rd April 2012, it was really frustrating that only half the amount of the original price of the ticket had been approved (A copy of the TDR History of that particular eticket is attached here for your reference).
I made repetitive complaints to IRCTC (via email) and they have done nothing other than generating ticket IDs: [IRCTC #1710377], [IRCTC #617476] & [IRCTC #1350364].
I, thus, demand the full amount to be refunded by Railways, as the ticket was cancelled for the train not touching the boarding station (that too without prior information to the customer).
