The very first time the FUJI Digital camera (F60fd) was used in a crowded place the zoom got stuck may be due to pushes and jostling or perhaps banging. The BRAND NEW CAMERA with 3 YEARS WARRANTY which was gifted was of no use on our holiday abroad as it completely failed and we were obliged to buy a new Kodak.

FUJIFilms, Bandra alleges it might have been dropped as the lens is badly damaged which is NOT COVERED IN THEIR WARRANTY and that we have to pay Rs.8000/- to have a new lens installed to make the camera functional.

In addition to that we are given all sweet talks when we visit their service centre at Bandra WITHOUT being told that whether or not the camera is repaired you will have to pay Rs.275/- as their service charge.

JUST FOR OPENING THE CAMERA AND TELLING YOU THAT THIS FAULT IS NOT COVERED IN THE WARRANTY and THAT EXTRA COST WOULD BE INCURRED FOR ANY REPAIRS they charge customers Rs.275/-. What kind of CHEAPSKATES we are dealing with.... I wonder. AND THEN THEY TELL US THESE CONDITIONS ARE COVERED IN their "FOOL THE CUSTOMER POLICIES".

So we would finally end up paying Rs.275/- as their cheating charges for a FUJI camera which will never work unless we spend Rs.8000/- . This will act as an alert forever TO NEVER BUY ANYTHING THAT HAS FUJI ON IT.

PLEASE DO NOT GET TEMPTED TO BUY FUJI cameras or gift it to others either as the temptation of 3 YEARS WARRANTY is only a TRAP to SWINDLE CUSTOMERS.

FUJIFILM repairs and customer service policies are so made that MOST OF THE DAMAGES that happen to their cameras WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD are NOT COVERED UNDER THE 3 YEARS WARRANTY, which the customers are unaware of while buying FUJI. This warranty is just a sales gimmick. FUJIFILM HAVE COMPANY FRIENDLY POLICIES INSTEAD OF CUSTOMER FRIENDLY POLICIES.

FUJIFILM IS loyal towards its promoters and business at the cost of their customers' trust and in the process is losing their credibility in the market. If you are businessmen we are people who buy your products so your fooling around will only be shorlived.
