Fraudulent transaction on my credit card no: 4514 5700 XXXX 9134 of Axis bank. One incident happened on 1st September 2018 at 18:18 hours. The call I received was from +********7964.
The person on the above phone claimed he was from Airtel Money.
Actually my amount of rupees 1030/- was held up with Airtel Money, and I enquired about refund of that amount to my wallet.
Immediatly after my enquiry I received this call asking me to tell the Credit Card number used for that held up amount of rupees 1030/-. He also asked me to tell him the OTP number that I was going to receive after some time, so that my amount will be refunded to my wallet.
Innocently I told him the OTP number also. Again he rang me up and told me the OTP was useless and asked me to tell the second OTP I was going to receive. I told him that OTP also.
Later I found out that there were two purchases made using my Credit Card worth Rs 9999, and Rs 9000/-.
Since I received the call from the above number immediately after my enquiry about refund of money, I believed him.
Kindly do the needful so that I will get my Amounts back, and I will be careful in the future with this experience. Thanking you Sir.
