We have booked a flat around two years back in Tarang Orchid, Sector – 28, Faridabad. This is a project of Tarang India and Tarang Infrastructure Limited. At that time building structure was ready and we were told by Mr. Sanjeev Aggarwal, MD and CEO of Tarang India, flats will be ready for handover within Six months. Payment terms were on fast track basis, as it was supposed to handover within six months. We paid around 80% of the flat value within 6-8 moths time. We have pretty much invested all of my life savings, kids savings, even sell gold, due to fast track payments we have to take lots of secured / unsecured loans from various banks and friends / family as well, for which we are still paying interest. When asked Tarang India officials to hand over the flat after six months, we were told project is being delayed and will be ready for handover within next six months. On visiting the actual job site, we were surprised to know, work was completely stopped, later we found Tarang India had collected money from the poor investors like us and invest in different other projects at various locations. Asking them in writing, they simply send a letter your flat is cancelled and money is forfeited. Stunned with the news, I was fainted. Tried to talked and settle the matter, nobody is ready to listen. Is there anybody who can help us and save us from these builder mafia’s.
