I hired Auto No: AP28 Y 0211 driven by Saleem from Secunderabad railway station to RK Puram9Secunderabad) where I reside.The traffic police man posted at the location took my details.The auto driver maintaned that the meter does not work.But I could see that it worked.He agreed to take me to Paradise hotel and from there to RK Puram Fly over for RS 80/

On reaching the destination,the driver insisted on Rs 50/ for going up to Paradise and Rs 80/additional for coming to RK Puram.The traffic police and this auto wallah exchanged comnplimenbts before starting and the police displayed no enthusiasm to help me.The booth at the station has no board mentioning that it is a traffic police booth.He is clearly hands in glove with the auto drivers.

I reached by Sabari by 3 pm and took the auto at about 3.10.My friend got dropped at Paradise,and that is the reason for my taking the auto via paradise.In any case,the rate of Rs.80/ is more than adequate for covering the entire distance since I frequently travel by auto and am aware.The driver strated making noise on reaching the destination and I paid him Rs 130/ and decided to lodge this complaint.I will be sending a copy to the Times of India since I noticed that they have published certain similar complaints in today's paper.
