Dont shop at Total lighting in Burlington Ontario.
Here we are now over 9 weeks after i placed an order for lights with a $370 deposit and nothing to show for it.
Since i was leaving the country, it was important for me to get my order before i left. We were promised 2 weeks for delivery. 2 turned into 3 and 3 into 4 and etc. Finally after over 2 months of waiting i requested my order to be canceled and asked for a refund.
The owner and manager refused to refund my money.
So now i have left the country and have absolutely nothing to show for it from Total Lighting.
No lights and no refund.
They have my money and i feel totally ripped off.
What was really bothersome is that every time we called, they told us next week.
They kept screwing us around and when i asked if they had actually been ordered and for a supplier number and shipping number, they could not provide.
I pleaded with them to confirm with supplier if they had the stock and exactly when it was going out on the truck. I was just told, this week, each week.
It led us to believe that these guys never placed the order or that they owed their supplier money and would not ship until they paid. There was something seriously strange going on with these guys. No truth or direct answers. No apologies or show of concern.
One excuse was because of customs etc. But there would have been at least a shipping number, and they could not provide. Obviously to us it was lies. We import product from Asia, and USA all of the time so we know how things work. These guys are complete liars.
In addition, after 2 months of getting screwed around, i sourced the exact same product through a supplier in the USA and had delivery within a week and a better price.
Dont ever order any product from these guys at Total Lighting.
You might find yourself getting screwed around and may never see your order or money back.
Avoid shopping at Total Lighting and Decor or Burlington.
There attitude and service was absolutely crap.
They have now been reported to the Better Business Bureau.
