I bought e-tide watch on last Sunday (12th Jul 09) from Landmark in Forum mall Bangalore. In 3 days I noticed that temperature reading being shown is incorrect. On Wed 15th July I showed the watch to sales people in landmark and they kept watch with promise that next day their manager will test it and if found faulty a new watch will be given on 16th July.
Next day I kept calling those sales people and no body picked the phone and only late in evening I got call that some Mr Shafik was supposed to come but have not come yet… and I was given his number (0-99867-81786). I call and spoke to him and he promised that by Saturday (18th Jul) I will get the new watch.
Again, On Saturday I kept calling sales people, no body picked the phone; Shafik did not pick the phone. I sent SMS to Shafik asking for watch but no reply. Later in evening sales people from landmark called me saying they are waiting for Shafik and he has not come yet.
My question is who is Shafik? Why I have to call/deal with such ir-resposible people? Is there anybody responsible in Timex? I’m looking forward for immediate action, escalation and new watch. I MUST get the new watch today.
