Had a very bad experience of fraud & cheating from GOAIR airline.
Had booked a ticket for my wife for G8-345 from kochi to delhi on sept 25th 2013. The booking was done on sept 3rd at the lowest rates at the GOAIR website. On sept 23rd, just 2 days before the flight day, their customer care contacts us to say the flight is cancelled. We panic & call their CC number 1********1 multiple times & they confirm that the flight indeed is cancelled. We are offered the initial day's amount as refund or another ticket on the previous day. Had to replan everything as she had to be there at Delhi for connecting flight to Finland.
I came to know that the flight was never cancelled, but it was a cheat on their part to free up tickets on 25th to sell off for higher rates. This kind of irresponsible behaviour from any flight is a failure of epic proportions. Also doing this to a single female long distance flier is unacceptable & should never be repeated.
