On July 28, I booked 7 tickets online (Rs. 1650) on pvrcinemas.com for a movie at PVR Select Citywalk, New Delhi. However, I had to cancel those tickets due to some unavoidable circumstances. A request was placed with the Customer Care centre who sent an email confirmation to me that the money would be credited back if PVR was able to sell those 7 tickets.
I received a call and SMS from Rohit who is the centre manager of PVR Select Citywalk and he confirmed that all 7 tickets had been sold and the money would be credited back to my account (I have saved the Text Message).
Since then I have sent several mails and made several calls to PVR Customer Care requesting for a confirmation. However, no response has been received thus far. The money has not been credited back till date.
I am extremely dissatisfied with this callous and non-customer centric approach by PVR. I hope the company duly recognizes that this amounts to a Fraud and they are liable to pay damages if taken to Consumer Court.
