I have experienced that PNR status is not updated on a daily basis. This causes much avoidable anxiety among wait listed passengers. Even if there is no cancellation, the same must be displayed in the PNR status. Malpractices like these lead to corruption. Cases in point are PNR status in respect 2 tier reservation in Rajdhani Express Train No 22811 on 1.10.2011 and Rajdhani Express ( Train No 22812 on 9.10.2011. I have already reported this matter to customer care Indian Railways. But it has not replied satisfactorily nor to the point.
