Dear Sir,
I had traveled on Shramjeevi Express # 12391 from Lucknow to New Delhi on 08-02-2012 having PNR # 650-6610126 & Berth # 7 of 2nd. A.C. HA1 compartment.That day the railway staff did not run the Air conditioning plant ( Heating ) on the pretext that railways have stopped running heaters after the fire incidence in one of the trains. This argument was quite bizarre but the fact remains that we traveled in chilling cold & had suffered a lot of discomfort & could not sleep for the whole night. To cap it all the Conductor did not visit to check the tickets & I could not lodge a formal complaint.
My wife also traveled on PNR # 620-6610035 in the 2nd. A.C. the same day.
I therefore request that the difference in fare of sleeper & A.C. be refunded to me for both the tickets. Besides some suitable action should be taken against the concerned staff.

Indian Railway have no control over the misconduct/misbehavior of such staff who ever remain indulge in unfair activities. For example my son boarded the train jan sampark kranti express from Bandra terminus to NZM of 12.02.12 having the RAC ticket. TT in coach have misbehaved and given the clear cut impression that he will not allow the birth up the destination and finally he did the same after the repeated requests of my son. Separate complaint is being filed by me after collecting the required under RTI ACT.
