Shiridi Sairam Travels - Complaint regarding non-refundable of bus fare & misbehaving with passenger

I\'ve made advance booking of bus ticket from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad on 26/05/2010 with a travel agent named Ataul Rehman on his mobile no. ********07 so as I can get seat of my choice. My date of journey was 27/05/2010 at 7.45pm in Reddy Express in seat no. H1 window seat.

I received a call from the agency with telephone no. 0891-3240425 at 7.03pm saying that Reddy Express has got a mechanical problem & hence the departure time of the bus will be at 9pm instead of 7.45pm & asked me to contact SHIRIDI SAIRAM TRAVELS on cell no. ********66 for further enquiry. When I contacted SHIRIDI SAIRAM TRAVELS on its cell then the agent replied that the bus is facing some mechanical problem but it will be solved soon & the bus will depart at 9pm from Old Gajuwaka i.e; boarding point of the bus.

When I reached the boarding point then the agent of SHIRIDI SAIRAM TRAVELS said that Reddy Express has been canceled due to mechanical problem & gave me a seat in SVR Travels in seat no. 35. Since seat no. 35 was last but 2nd row seat & also as it was not a window seat, I asked the agent to either give me a window seat or if it\'s not possible then cancel my ticket, as I wasn\'t comfortable to travel in the seat of his choice. But the agent didn\'t give me window seat & also refused to refund the ticket amount i.e; Rs.450/-.

When I warned him of registering complaint with police then he replied that he was ready to accept complaint & said he had no fear with police & challenged me to give complaint to anyone that I think.

Due to this type of rude behaviour of these agents the passengers/customers are facing problem every time & are forced to travel in the choice of the travel agents.

I sincerely request the concerned authorities to take immediate action against the agents of SHIRIDI SAIRAM TRAVELS & make them to refund my amount of bus ticket i.e; Rs.450/-.

isn't mentioned in its receipt.
I'm having only its address & moble no. written on the receipt.
