Sir,
I am working as stationmaster in Indian Railway and residing at the above said address. My younger daughter Selvi. Srikabe is studying Bcom.@ Holycross college,Trichy and doing her ICW @ICAI Trichy.
As she felt some hardship in travelling home to institutions and back I suggested a scooter.She has analysed all the products in the market and decided to purchase only “YamahaRayâ€.I have also
agreed for it.
On 01.08.2014 when I approached S.S.Yamaha@Kallukuli,Trichy they presented a quotation for
Yamaha ray and Yamaha RayZ. Ray priced@Rs.46376/- andRs.6447/-towards registration expenses and
Insurance. Thus the total cost is Rs.52823/-.
On 03.08.14they contacted me through phone. As it is (03.08.14)an auspicious day for us ie.â€Aadi perukkuâ€we decided to advance an amount for the scooter on 03.08.14
Went to the showroom ,where we met one Mr.Manikandan who called himself as Manager.He told that
The price of ray was increased toRs.46665/-. Registration and insurance charges also increased to Rs.6470/-.Thus the total cost is Rs.53135/-The additional fitting will cost Rs.3775/-,we will give Rs.1500/-offer on the cost. In addition to that they are offering a gift for those who register on 03.08.14 the auspicious day.We agreed to purchase Ray along with the extra fittings and gave an advance of Rs.2000/-in cash. Since 03.08.14 was a holidayfor them after informing us they made the receipt dated 04.08.14.
As we were told on 06.08.14 remitted Rs.51000/- towards payment for Ray and told them that the
balance would be given on delivery day ie.on 07.08.14.
On 06.08.14 afternoon I received a call from the agency. He told you are having a balance of Rs.135/- unless you paid it registration cannot be done .Despite my reply to remit it next day he repeated the same. Shocked and ashamed I told him to cancel my booking.
On 07.08.14 there was no information from the agency. My eagerful daughter contacted them,then only they told the vehicle is ready to deliver,while she clarified whether the extra fittings are made fit replied everything was don. On reaching the showroom they showed the vehicle without extra fittings. When asked about it they replied you have not made payment. Asking why you have replied everything done
They replied they had not stated so. While quoting the phone no.received simply they told he was not available. The irresponsible attitude of the staffs shootup my pressure,I left the showroom.
After an hour Mr.Manikandan said to be the manager contacted me through phone. I told him to cancel my booking since your service is very worst and unberable I don’t want to put my daughter into the hands of irresponsible and inhuman elements. For which he regretted and assured that it will not be repeated and promised to deliver the vehicle with gift at my home on that day. Unwillingly at the sametime considering my daughter’s wish I agreed for it. On 07.08.14 @20.30hrs the vehicle was delivered without gift at my home and collected Rs.1995/- as balance amount with an assurance to issue receipt at the time of RC book delivery.
On 22.08.14 I received a phone call and was informed that my RC book and insurance are ready at kallukuli showroom.Due to personal reasons I went to the showroom on 28.08.14. One male and one female staffs were available. I introduced myself to Ms.Jeyanthi the lady staff and explained my visiting purpose. She told only RC is available. While asking about the insurance she told she did not know, when asked about the phone call she replied me that whoever called you, you contact them, I donot know. Then I asked her to give Mr.Manikandan the so called manager’s phone no. She said that number was not available.I got annoyed and suspected their behavior told her either furnish his no.or ask him to present here until such time I will not leave this place. After my strong protest she gave his no. On contacting him once again he regretted and assured to send all the things through courier and to collect the gift now itself. While waiting for disposal the another male staff available teased me â€What happened now? Whomever you may contact what we said will stand, Nobody can do anything!â€Then only I fully understood this agency is not at all having any head ,no responsible person is available and left theShowroom.
From the date of booking the problems created by the agency affected us sentimentally that selected a wrong one, leads to mental agony, affected the health, lost the peaceful atmosphere at home and the purpose of purchase also defeated. After run for nearly 55km.only and due for the first service on 03.08.14 the vehicle is kept idle at home fearing over the agency.
Having trust in your brand name only we came to this floorshop. But we were much humiliated and we are forced to consider that we are not valued customers according to the people at the shop. We decided to sever the relationship with them once for all and request you to look into the possibilities.
1] Take back the vehicle and refund the amount as much as allowable
2 ]If it could not be done the service provider may please be changed to.
3] Even this also could not be done by you, I am ready to go away from your service once for all.
