Dear Sir/Madam,
This mail is to report the harassment made by reliance communications to their privileged customer. I was a reliance customer since many years. I had a reliance postpaid mobile no. 0********29 and a reliance NetConnect+ dongle 0********62 since so many years.
I had always been paying all the bills in time and none of the payments were made late ever for these years. In the month of June, i got an inflated reliance mobile bill for which i complained regularly at customer care and to my utter dissatisfaction, i didnt get any resolution to my problem. Out of frustration after repeatedly making calls at the customer care, i was forced to ask for disconnection. I didnt know the due bill amount and as soon as i came to know, i paid the due unbilled amount of 2099 Rs. Infact, after this treatment i should not have paid the bill for any reason.
Next, i had a reliance net connect modem. As if the above treatment was not enough, when i asked for services from netconnect team, they were smart enough to suggest for disconnection and a false excuse that my very much working contact number is not available to them. I had the dongle few years back and i simply wanted to get it transferred at my current address. This activity was simple enough but the netconnect team made it traumatic for me. The responsible person used abusive language and kept sending stray msgs. Being a responsible person, once again i paid all the dues against this number.
The latest development is inspite of clearing all the dues for both the connections, harassment calls from an unknown number (********83 )are being made to my family and friends. The lady is asking for my name and complete address along with other personal details for a courier delivery from RCI Co. She says she belongs to Solitaire courier company and is not ready to tell any further details. This is highly frustrating and i am deeply affected by this. For your kind information, my home address and alternate number is already registered with reliance. So what is the point of making such harassing calls. With this case, i think i made a big mistake by clearing all the due bills. This is not a legal way to handle a customer and that too when i have been using reliance for so many years. I am reporting the case to Consumer Court with all the authentic details available with me and will see to it that a strict action is taken against this activity.
