I am a regular reader of THE HINDU daily for the past many years. In the past month I saw an advertisement of NAAPTOL in The Hindu daily. The ad was 9 sarees which contains a special offer of 7 silk sarees also. By seeing this I placed an order. I received through IndiaPost, Kariavattom Branch, Trivandrum Kerala (on 03.12.2013 order number:7621083) waste books instead of 7 sarees worth Rs.3398(including shipping charges) through India Post. I have sent a scanned copy of complaint about NAAPTOL’s cheating. NAAPTOL apologize about the cheating and assured me that the replacement will get within 7-10 working days at my mailing address. The product is not reached so far. After that I have sent several mails to them, but they insisted me that I have to produce a letter from the Post Master stating that I received waste books instead of sarees. But as you know, the duty of a postman is to deliver the product and they don’t want to join me regarding the complaint. And , of course, it is not their duty to give witness letter.
