Hello Sir/Madam,
I had applied for a Property loan with the Financial company named "EKAM Financial Services Pvt. Ltd" located @ patiala which I got to know from Vijaya Karnataka News paper Ad. I called their contact number provided in the paper and enquired about the loan and it was mentioned that the Interest is 3% / Year for any type of Loan. Initially they asked me to pay the processing charges of Rs. 1500 to an SBI Acc. number 31********6 maintained by a person named Mr. Abhishek Kumar. After paying this amount they sent me a Loan approval letter (Attached) for Rs. 13 Lakhs. Initially they asked for all the Proofs viz.. Payslip, Identity prrof, Address proof etc.. and I had sent them all the required documents. After verifying all my documents, a person from that company named Mr. Sunny Chopra called me and explained the procedure for getting the loan. He told me to pay 2 Advance EMI of Rs. 22,000 (11,000 x 2 ) to approve the loan. I paid the amount to the same account number mentioned above and asked for the status next day. They sent me a letter called "Solvency Certificate" which I have to get from the bank. But my Bank ( HDFC ) manager told me that Solvency Certificate will be given only if we maintain an Average Quarterly balance of 1 Lakh and above and has to be certified by a Chartered Accountant. But, I don't maintain such a huge amount as I am a Salaried person and informed the same to the Financial company. Now, they are saying that the amount will not be refunded as it is my problem not providing the Solvency Certificate. But, they had not informed me of this so called Solvency Certificate before sending the Approval letter. Also, they had promised me that If the amount is not sanctioned, my EMI's will be refunded. Now, they are asking for an additional sum of 10,000 for providing the fake Solvency Certificate which I rejected to pay as it looks like a SCAM to cheat the people.
Please do the needful and help me to get my Money back.
I did not see any action taken on my Complaint till date. Is there anybody taking care of this ?
