I opted for this caterer based in Chandigarh by the name of Celeste Catering it full name KAVA Celeste Hospitality- Outdoor Catering. It is said to be a brand owned by Timber Train group people or KAVA restruant in 26 sector Chandigarh. Even though it is not counted amongst the big brands in catering in Chandigarh like Ambrosia,4 seasons or food craft. But still some how i thought that its related to some good brands may be they are good. And that was the biggest mistake i did. There manager who dealt with me Mr Negi, i had asked him atleast a dozen of times that please waiter should not be less and snacks should not fall short and there should not be no messup. But even after all this assertion and guest also just as the estimate- heres is what they delivered on the function night. This is what happens when you pay such hippocrate people more than the market rate and they deliver not even the average service. I payed them 1100 for a plate as to 950 which was being offered by any big caterer and there service not even half a match.

By the time it was 10 PM just when the occasion got into gear, they started saying that snacks are finished. Some of my guest even told me that the waiters replied that the dinner is ready so the snacks are over.Besides this there where no shot glasses at bar for tequila etc, even after i had informed them before had at least 1 week. Bar attendant fully unprofessional.

And they were on my door the very next morning as compared to 4 seasons they came after 1 week comfortably. But by this time i had got many bad reviews and i told all that to Mr Negi and payed him 50,000 less and told him i will talk to him later as my sisters wedding was just after 15 days. But after that they never got back to me, not even for there 50,000 but that was ok cause they never sent bill too for which they charged me 20,000-30,000 tax. So basically they lost just 10-20 k . They never called back to clarify or know what went wrong.

But that is a very good scheme you overcharge customer 1100 instead of 950, and deliver him equivalent to 600/plate, so that now even if he is not happy and fines you 1-2 lakh you still are in profit. Great Business Model CELETE.
