i had given my car (kl 23 b 81) for service at KVR Dream Vehicle Pvt Ltd. on 4/06/2012. the problem with the car was THICK SMOKE at the time of starting. few parts mentioned below where replaced but there was NO IMPROVEMENT.
filter element - rs 192/-
air filter element renew - rs 54/-
since there was NO DIFFERENCE the car was again taken to service on 16/07/2012. it was told by the adviser that OVERHAULING FUEL INJECTION PUMP would solve the problem. when asked for the cost of repairing he said it would cost about rs 150/- or so. one day a call came from them say that the overhaul would cost more. i asked to continue with the overhaul if it solves the problem. the maintenance cost is mentioned below.
fuel injection pump overhaul rs 450/-
handling charge for supplier parts rs 6000/-
the day they returned the car to us there was DIESEL LEAKAGE. the next day car was again taken for service, they fixed it but from then on new problems arises. after running about 100 km these problems where identified
1. missing
2. very thick black smoke
3. starting trouble
4. low mileage
5. less pulling
once again the car was taken for service, i talked to the manager with these issues and their poor service, he said he will consider my problem. next day one of their employ reached home and said to fix the problem it would cost rs 30,000 or more..
i said to them no need of their service and took the car to a LOCAL WORKSHOP where the PROBLEM WAS FIXED just for rs 450/-
