I bought Xperia L on 6th Oct.13 from South Ex-1 and the dealer gave me the handset that had problems. To hide the problem, first he cut my normal sim card into micro sim, saying that this model need small sim, without opening the handset and looking at what kind of Sim this model requires. When I insited him to show me the handset, he broke open the seal and said that this sim cannot be fitted because he has cut it, so I should go to Airtel outlet and purchase a duplicate Sim. I did that and it takes few hours to get SIM activated. Once the SIM got activated, the mobile was not reading the SIM and giving message "No Sim". I spoke to the dealer and he asked to go to service centre and he will not do anything because he has already sold the set. I should fight with service centre to get this replaced.
My question is, if Sony is selling me a set without doing QC, why I should I go to service centre when money has been paid to dealer. There also he is guiding me that I should fight with service centre for replacement of set and he will not do anything who has made money on it. Now I am not sure even if the handsets being sold in the name of Sony, are real Sony product or are they selling some Chinese phones simply putting Sony Logo on it
