Photon + became a pain in the neck ever since i bought it.Serious connectivity issues in my residence of Sarjapur junction forced me to go for disconnection.Following event happened:
1)April- Apply for disconnection.The device stopped working but disconnection never happened.
2)After 20 days i am offered to convert the connection to prepaid.I decline.Keep getting calls for conversion for another 10 days.
3)Eventually i aggreed.Completed formalities
4)May- 15 days hence. Paid the postpaid bill(even though device hadnt' worked for the last month) and called to check if conversion happened.
5)Despite calling twice in this period it didnt' happen for another 15 days.
6)June-Even though the device hasnt' been working at all the next bill got generated.
7)I called up again for disconnection and waiver of this amount.
8)I am called up some 5 people to ask for reason for disconnection and pestered again for conversion to prepaid.
9)Eventually this person calls up who says that he has my prepaid filled forms and will do it right away(1.5 months after i filled it).
10)I decline conversion and ask for disconnection.I was asked to pay this amount and that disconnection will happen in another 55 days and no more bills will get generated.
11)July- Bill is generated again and I'm bombarded with calls for bill payment (two per day).
12)I call again for stopping these calls but to no avail.
13)I keep getting bill payment calls.
14)I eventually call the nodal officer(Ruhi) who promises to take care of the issue and get necessary approvals.
15)Next day i call her up and she furnishes me this ref.no. 230713037,promises me a waiver of this amount and no more harrassing calls from their side.
16)August 10 (Today) -Still getting calls for payment of the bill.
Poor customer care service by tata indicom has costed me my money and peace of mind.
