Sir,
I bought a Toaster of Murphy Richerds make on 21st Nov 2009. for one year it worked perfectly fine. Then once it needed reapirs
I was told on phone by by Mr Dhananand Mobile number ********52/54/70 of Murphy Richerds regional customer care center S T Service Point E 21/228 sector 3 Rohini Delhi, to conatct Mr Rawat or Mr Deepak from Jagdamba Serviice center and get my complaint registered. I registered my compliant with Jagdamba Service center in Dec 2010, complaint number provided was 536. I waited for some time before ringing them again this time telephone operator told me that the management here as chnaged hands so we may not be able to trace your compliant ( don't they keep records? management change doesn't mean records change?) So she is registering it again. with a complaint number 418 in January 2011. After repeated reminders in feb 2011 their technican, A, sardar ji, came and took away the toaster telling me that it needs replacement as it is under warrrenty. He gave a receipt for the same. ( now this being a small service center they must be knowing who is this sardarji who had collected the toaster from my residence. Since then it is more than one and a half year but the replacement has not reached me. Every time I phone a new complaint number is provided. In feb 2012 when I gave the details of the receipt that Sardar ji gave me while he was taking away the toaster, The lady said your replacement will reach you before comming satureday when I phoned them on next monday they said "please madam the replacement unit has to come from the company and as it has not yet come we are unable to keep our words but as soon as the replacement comes from factory we will send it to you." I again waited for three months with such false promises. Now during April 2012 I had an accident in which my purse broke down and the recipt provided by sardar ji probably fell off it because since then I am unable to trace it. Now when I phone Jagdamba Service they say provide the deatial of reciept given by technician else we cant process your complaint.
When I remind them that you have promised me in feb 2012 that replacement will come next satureday and you are waiting for factory to provide you a new unit and now you are going back on your words; they say I am not denying the talk but we cant do any thing if you cant provide the recipt details. I have doubts that the accident ( which could have been fatal was also caused by these people just to get that receipt as I was always carrying it in my purse. ( why is it so important?) They certainly know that I have lost that reciept now, how? because before this time they never insisted on reciept details as I had provided them the details already.They just dont want to replace the toaster they took under warrenty. I have doubt that they are misusing it. Because in a film "Sadda Adda" released last year there is a team of young boys who rent a house and ask "toaster to free milega na?" Are they renting a house with my toaster as free. Later on one of them is shown to have bought the house. Is the house related in some way to my toaster which I do not know? And that is why it was so important to get hold of that reciept, that a accident was caused to gain it? How far is the involvement of Jagdamba Service in this.
