I'm positing the below complaint on my father's behalf, as stated by him.

I’m a retired Deputy Collector, Tamilnadu State Govt aged 72 yrs and I’m heart patient. My wife D.Vathsala, 73 years is a dialysis patient and on alternate days I take her to Billroth (Chennai Kaliappa) Hospital by auto. I normally pay Rs.75 flat though the meter charge is only Rs.35 for a distance of 1.7 km for every trip. On 24th Dec, 2016 I hired an auto with registration number TN 10R-1185 from the hospital to my residence. After dropping us at residence, the driver demanded Rs.120 which was very high and I told him that I go regularly by auto and pay only Rs.75. The driver argued in a rude manner and used abusive language to me. He also threatened me. My BP shot up and during this fight my wife under stress fell down while getting down of the auto. Due to this unruly behavior of the auto driver, both me and my wife were traumatized. I request you to take appropriate action against the driver by keeping our identity confidential.
My sincere request is to take stringent action against such arrogant drivers who pose a great threat to the general public. Senior citizens have great dependency on auto as a mode of transportation so request traffic police to re-inforce strict measures to charge reasonably and provide safety
