I am having an apple handset and I am using Internet through my wifi connection.I did not activate any Internet connection on my mobile no.********33, and then on 9th July I receive a bill of Rs.2402. I would like to know with whose permission did airtel activated Internet service on my number and why?I also received a call from airtel saying that they have activated internet service which is free as it was my birthday in June and also asked my whether I would like to continue it ,for which I clearly said no and also got angry for starting such service may be free without my permission. So all I would like to know is that ,do these companies donot require the permission of the customer before starting any service and if they do,then why did they do so in my case and who would pay the bill which was a complete cheating done by airtel.Hoping for justice alli wish is that something is done to stop such companies from making huge profits through fraud.thank you.
