Dear Sir,

Today Morning we went to make a reservation on TATKAL scheme for 11th,to Secunderabad to visakhapatnam.

We observed the corruption taking in the counter and we argued with the Ticket issuing officer
1)He is colleting 2 forms from the agents and also he is carrying pre filled application forms
2)If we filled the application with out filling the train name he is not accepting the same, my consern is we dont know what is the avilabity of tatkal when we standed in the queue for that reason i leaved it blank and he is saying that that that is not our responsibility.and he is saying that you have to fill all the train names in that case think of P&S expenses of INDIAN RAILWAYS.
3)We accepted for the same and we filled GODAVARI and VISAKHA he said both are full we asked for FALAKHNAMA he said that is also full after that the person standed next to me is given for FALAKHNAMA and got the ticket for the same we asked how he got the ticket and he is saying that he asked for FALAKHNAMA upto Srikakaulam and you asked for visakhapatnam bot are not same.Is it true.
This is not the first time happend with me the same thing things r repleted in CHANDANAGAR STATION(of Secunderabad Division).

Kindly look in to the matter and do the needful.
We already suffered and we make alternatives for the same waht about the people if he wants to go urgent

Hi Sir,
It is very common that the ticket issuing officers are busy during Tatkal time. In order to provide effective service they insist on providing all details in reservation form so that the service will be swifter.
I read your complaint and want to mention that there is nothing wrong with the officer there. A bit of more awareness and you will be eased.
The quota changes with farther stations many a times. You can check this in Sabari express , for instance, Sometimes, You may lesser quota while booking a ticket till Coimbatore but will find more quota if you book till Palakkad/Ernakulam(next station to Coimbatore). We just have to understand how railways work. I suggest you to visit sites like www.indianrail.gov.in before going for counter reservation so that you will know the status and quota before hand and make right judgement while filling up the form. You can try checking the quota by extending your destination to farther stations. Sometimes, the quota will be high if you book ticket from a couple of preceding source points(In this case you will have to mention the boarding point as hyderabad). Please explore them in your idle time so that you will gain better exposure to Indianrailway working system.
