GOVERNMENT OF TRIPURA COMPLETED THE PROCESS FOR RECRUITING GRADUATE TEACHERS FOR GOVT SCHOOLS IN TRIPURA AFTER 14 YEARS. ADVERTISEMENT DONE SEVERAL TIMES. 2002, 2006 THERE AFTER 2009 IN THE LOCAL NEWS PAPERS. ALSO THE INTERVIEW TAKEN SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE ANY ELECTION IN STATE, FOR THE SAME POST.

During the past week, the department has released altogether 4,712 offers of appointment for graduate school teachers, out of 4,856 targeted.
The remaining 144 offers are being kept in abeyance because of lack of candidates for the reserved categories of physically handicapped and ex-servicemen.
The job bonanza, however, has sparked statewide resentment because in All the cases the beneficiaries were CPI (M) cadres or relatives and family members of party leaders.
THERE WAS NO SELECTION PROCEDURE. NO WRITTEN EXAM NO MERIT LISTS NO INTERVIEW. MINISTERS SEVERAL TIMES DECLARED THAT THE RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE IS 70% SENIORITY & 30% MERIT APPLICANTS WILL BE SELECTED.
FINALLY OFFER GIVEN ONLY on the basis of political connections. The list submitted by various CPI (M) local committees of the state has been approved by the school education, thereby making the interview board a mockery. Merit cum seniority and need based has practically been made a slogan.
An evil design has been drawn up by the party in power to facilitate their cadres in the name of offer of appointments. Hundred percent of the offer of appointment have been sent to their close persons thereby making the department as rehabilitation centre for the cadres.
IT IS QUITE SHAMEFUL THAT OUR EDUCATED GRADUATES CUTS OFF EVEN MORE THAN 13-14 YEARS FROM THEIR LIVES, JUST WAITING FOR A JOB OF A GRADUATE TEACHER.. BUT WHAT TO TEACH? MAY BE - HOW TO BECOME NEEDY, POOR, AND WORK FOR THE CPI(M ) LEADERS POLITICIANS WHO ONLY SERVES FOR THEMSELVES AND NOT FOR THE NATION, MAY BE , OF COURSE, HOW TO DAY DREAM, AND HOW TO BREAK THE BACKBONE OF A GENERATION OR A NATION AND THE MOST IMPORTANT - HOW TO BECOME QUITE AND CALM IN AN EMPTY STOMACH.
School education department released all 4712 offers through speed post. Selected candidates merit list, seniority list, BPL card holders list was not displayed by the department. Not even in the website, they displayed the selected candidates name list.
Actually Governments & the school education departments main motive was to hide all the things including candidates name list, selection procedure everything from the public & media.
IT IS QUITE SHAMEFUL that teachers job in the school education department of Tripura; there is no place for Actual merit, seniors, and Needy (BPL Card holders) applicants. The teachers job is now became only for the CPI(M) cadres. Education department is now rehabilitation centre for the cadres.
But those deprived have now turned the heat on the school education department by flooding it with letters under the RTI Act, 2005, seeking a variety of information on job offers, including details of beneficiaries.
I am not aware of the exact number of RTI applications received so far but according to the media that a large number of applications seeking information had already been filed. But till today department not replied any of the application.
All the deprived candidates now planning to file a case in the court. Please help us by providing legal help. Actually we don’t know the procedure filling PIL (Public interest litigation) in the court. Please guide us.
Please set up an enquiry commission headed by a sitting High Court Judge to find out the gross irregularities in respect to offer of appointments as graduate teacher. Help those actual merits, senior & needy applicants. Help our state & the students for a batter life, batter feature.
