With a transaction i.d FB2002TIII8Z (of cheapticket.in), I booked 2 tickets of Indigo airlines (online through cheapticket.in) on 20.02.2015 (pnr-E8926G). I cancelled the ticket on 21.02.2015 as I couldnt travel. The airlines staff informed me over telephone that the amount will be returned to the travel agency - cheapticket.in and they would give the credit to the same credit card that I used to purchase the ticket. This cheapticket has a policy to return the amount in maximum 7-10 days' time (by max 3rd March 2015). But I didnt get my amount till 13th March 2015, when I contacted their number. Aman rai, Customer care executive told me that I would get back the amount within 12 hours (from 4pm of 13.3.2015). But I didnt get the amount till 11.45 pm of 14.3.15. Kumud, the customer care supervisor refused to speak to me. Chetna Khan, another executive cheated me on 14.3 2015 by saying to be on hold as their accountant will be connected, but actually she dropped my call. Finally Mary Kurian, Manager, Operations, Cheapticket.in told me that they will not transer the amount till Monday (16.3.2015) as "electronic fund transfer takes 4-5 working days!!!!" She dared me doing anything that I wished, and told that they didnt care.
I had officially mailed them yesterday giving 12 hours time for the credit, but with no result.
Sir/ Madam, I want my money back at the earliest. I would also like to get simple interest on the amount that the cheapticket is holding back for no reason. This company shouuld be heftily penalised so taht they stop this cheating business.
