On July 8, 2013 I have placed an order at Kaunsa.com, with product code: MOB/MOB/APP/76053, worth Rs.38,974/-. It was a mobile handset, with which I have planned to surprise my brother, as a gift on his successful achievement.

I was informed that the package will reach my door. Hoping that, I eagerly waited for it, but July 22,(the assured delivery date) comes and just passes by.

With high hope still in mind, I again contacted them, through their site Customer Support Channel, and I was informed that the shipping was not happening yet. But then, I emphasized on how solely I have depended on them, as for me to make it a surprise gift to my brother.

I again have contacted Kaunsa.com just to get information on 'where about' of my ordered item, since its way beyond all time-line assurance. There again I was informed that there it will be delivered and the delay was due to some small issue. I as well encourage them by mentioning that I will be waiting as long as it was going to be delivered.

I was asking them again of the same and also mentioned about my impatience on waiting this long. There I was told about the unavailability of the product, plus my deposited cash was converted to a life-time code (voucher) and I have to buy product of my choosing using the code. Besides, they still have the courage to mention that I have to buy their product higher than the code provided, which will make me pay even more!!!

I have my last tele-communication with them. Unexpectedly, I was allowed for a refund, so I thank them and waited.

Again, I was informed that conversion to code (voucher) is the only way, otherwise "refunding takes time"...! Then they simply kept quiet after-all. I even wrote a mail to them on Sept 6 & Sept 9, addressing email; care@em.kaunsa.com, support@kaunsa.com, contactus@kaunsa.com. But the silent continues till date.

I really don't know what this is all about or what they try to show. They may be thinking that I might give it up; which will not going to happen. This un-thoughtful meaningless act of retention is useless. Just stop it.

Btw, not all but to show it happened, I have enclosed a file for reference.
