I had shifted from Kolkata to Bahadurgarh(Haryana) and hired the services of Times Packers and Movers to move my household goods. They goods were booked on 07/09/2009 and was to reach Bahadurgarh on 15/09/2009.The goods were to be insured for Rs.75000/-. I was told that i would receive the soft copy of the insurance papers on 08/09/2009 and the hard copy on delivery. On not receiving the soft copy of the insurance papers on 8th. i called up the concerned person Mr. Pradeep Agarwal. He assured to me that it would be mailed immediately. But the same was not done. Even on frequent reminders he did not mail the papers to me.
The goods did not arrive on 15/09/2009. On calling up Mr. Agarwal he told to me that it would be delivered to me on 16/09/2009 evening. when i did not receive my consignment on 16th i tried calling again but he would not receive my call. He messaged me the number of some other person, who too promised the goods to be delivered on the next day, but all in vain. Then they both stopped receiving my calls completely.
Now i was left with no idea what to do.So i found out some other numbers from the company\'s website but nobody would respond properly.
Finally I received my consigment on the 26/9/2009. On asking for the Insurance papers i was told that no such papers were giving to the delivery person.
I feel that these people had not insured my goods but i still paid for the premium.They have cheated me and would continue to cheat others unless some serious action is taken against them.
