I received a promotional email from Kaunsa.com offering a SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 3 for Rs. 8999. The picture shown in the mail clearly shows the picture of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and offered the same features and specifications. Thinking it to be a good offer I placed my order on 04.02.2014 and remitted a sum of Rs.8,999/-. I was shocked to receive the product on 07.02.2014 which do not even resemble to Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The product has no name and the features and specifications of the product is nowhere near the specifications and features specified and for which I had made the order. Immediately I sent a mail to Kaunsa and followed it up with them on phone. It is very difficult to get anybody on phone. The phone is never attended by anyone. Even if you are lucky to get someone to pick your phone, the standard answer is that you file your complaint on their website and you will get a reply in 48 hours. The reply is also strereo type that we are escalating the matter with the supplier etc. etc. Finally I was told that I may send back the product to their office and they will refund the money. Accordingly, I have sent back the product and they have received it on 21.02.2014 but till now there is no response as to when they will be refunding my money.

Now, If I do not get my money back within next three days, I am planning to file an FIR on the company and its officials for cheating, fraud etc. I would also thinking of filing an Consumer Complaint and also complaints with Samsung to take up the matter with them for depicting their trade mark, write to Registrar of Companies to rein in the Company. These kind of fraudsters should be brought to book. I would like to know the details of the Directors of the Company and its officials. I am also independently trying to get their details.
