I had booked 2 bus tickets from Chennai to Ooty for travel on 25/01/2012 online from KPN travels(Chennai) by paying Rs.1160. After booking I had received a confirmation from KPN helpdesk through mail stating that for the same bus there is a boarding point at Guindy. And on 25th, when I was about to reach the Guindy boarding point , I received call from KPN travels informing that the bus is about to leave from Koyembedu bus stand which is far away from Guindy. When I said that I am near Guindy pickup point, he informed me that the bus don't go via Guindy.I informed him that I have already received mail confirmation from Helpdesk that there is a boarding point at Guindy, only thing he did was disconnecting the call. After that I tried calling the number but it was already switched off. Though I have sent several mails to KPN travel with all the proofs, I am not receiving any response from them regarding refund or compensation.
Please help!
P.S. - After missing the bus, I had to run from one travel agent to another as all tickets were already booked due to holidays.I bought tickets for Rs.2800 for Chennai to Coimbattore and Rs.1400 for booking cab for Coimbattore to Ooty. I reached Ooty late in the evening next day and my hotel booking and plan for one day went for a toss. So total economic damage was more than Rs.5000 plus tremendous mental agony.
your not mention the concern calling phone number and name of the person to calling you from koyambad
