I travelled with my family on 9th september by trivandrum express AC sleeper A2 seat no.41,42,23,24 (chennai to trivandrum train no. 12695). We had a harrowing experience that night as the entire compartment was heavily infested with bed bugs and cockroaches including the bedsheets and the blankets. The curtains had bedbugs all over. We sat shivering through the night guarding our sleeping kids. The TTR was apolegetic but could do nothing. We paid a heavy price for travelling by AC compartment. One child is now down with fever and rashes. We shudder at the thought of travelling by train again
